You will join our British and international students taking full degree programes and you are sure to have an immersive, exciting and rewarding experience.

Exchange students:

You must choose modules from the designated exchange course. Talk to your home university tutor first. They must agree your module choice. You can choose 4 modules per semester.

If your home university has an institution-wide exchange agreement, you may be able to choose from a wider list of modules. We cannot guarantee that all options will be available to all students. Some modules depend on resource levels and some have a limited number of places. Similarly, it may not be possible to run certain modules if insufficient numbers of students have chosen that option. In some cases, timetabling restrictions may prevent the combination of particular modules.

L4: is a 1st year module of our 3-year degree program (equal to a 2nd year of a 4-year degree structure)
L5: is a 2nd year module of our 3-year degree program (equal to a 3rd year of a 4-year degree structure)
L6: is a 3rd year module of our 3-year degree program (equal to a 4th year of a 4-year degree structure)

University managed accommodation is not guaranteed. We will try and place students in our accommodation. Should this not be available our Accommodation Office will provide guidance to students to find local private accommodation. For semester 1, accommodation availability will not be provided until all University of Chichester 1st year students have been offered a place, this is typically around August/early September.

Our accommodation options range from on-campus halls of residence on both our Bishop Otter (Chichester) and Bognor Regis campuses, to our Student Villages situated to the south of the picturesque city centre of Chichester.

Choose between ensuite and shared style (i.e. with communal bathrooms and kitchens) accommodation, with catered or self-catered packages allocated on a single occupancy basis.

We also have a range of freshly refurbished off-campus properties meeting the growing demand for our brand-new type of studio accommodation, which can be offered as single or dual occupancy.

Our accommodation is allocated by a randomized lottery-based system, based on your submitted accommodation application, which will list your 6 types of accommodation choices (or 3 types for students undertaking a teaching degree).

Rates based on 2024-2025 academic year rates for one semester

Study Abroad Fee: $75
Mercer Technology and Facility Fee: $150

Flight: $1,500
Housing: $4,100
Personal Expenses: $2,000
- including meals and groceries as Chichester has some accommodation that is self-catered.
