With a focus on courses in Strasbourg’s École de Management (Business School), this is a great option for anyone with a major or minor in an area of Business. Academic information

Course registration starts in August (for the Fall semester) and in December (for the Spring semester). Click here to consult the list of courses offered at EM Strasbourg to non-degree seeking students. (Please note that this list is subject to change). Students participating in our degree seeking programs will be enrolled automatically. All exchange students will receive detailed information about the course registration by email.

Language Requirements

Courses are mainly taught in English; some courses are taught in French. B2-C1 level is highly recommended in the language of instruction. No certificate required for the application.

Course Registration

Note that simple exchange students can register for up to 36 ECTS credits per semester, which can represent 20 to 27 contact hours per week.
Courses at EM Strasbourg are worth either 3 ECTS credits or 5 ECTS credits.
It is students’ responsibility to check with their home university advisors that the courses selected meet any subject/class hours/credit requirements of the home university.
Course registration takes place at the beginning of each semester.

Strasbourg Housing Information

CROUS: CROUS is in charge of university residences and dining halls in France. Accommodations are designed for limited budgets with different levels of comfort. Places available are limited and only for exchange students.

Exchange students provide their housing choices through an online survey sent by the International Relations Office after the end of the nomination/application period for the exchange program.
Accommodations are granted on a first-come,
first-served basis.

EM Strasbourg Business School offers different categories of rooms in student residences, but access is limited and accommodation is therefore not guaranteed. The international office provides students with additional information for their own research on the private housing market.

Detailed information about housing (both university housing and the private housing market) will be provided once you are officially nominated.

Strasbourg Summer School

Every summer, EM Strasbourg Business School organizes its International Summer School program for students coming from our partner universities.

Studying in the heart of Europe, the students take courses in European business. A number of courses are taught by guest faculty from around the world. The courses are complemented by a variety of corporate and cultural visits.

Undergraduate and graduate students from partner universities may participate in our Summer School program. This program is ideally suited to business students from all specializations and/or international studies students. Students from other majors may also be considered. Please contact us for further information.

Academic and Language Requirements

All classes, lectures, and visits will be held in English and no prior knowledge of French is required; Students need to meet the following requirements:

Proficiency in English (minimal level of B2 in English according to the Common European Reference Framework of Languages).
Undergraduate or graduate level (at least 2 years of university studies)
No pre-requisites
