Requirements: In order to attend a Faculty-Led Study Abroad Program, students must have a 2.5 or higher GPA. Questions regarding this policy may be directed to Emily Dunn (dunn_ea@mercer.edu).
Participants in this program will travel to all the 3 countries mentioned above during spring break 2026 for a first-hand exploration of the history and culture of three preeminent metropolitan areas (Berlin, Prague, Krakow). Students will examine important historical sites, stunning architecture and cultural sites in a vibrant atmosphere, such as: Checkpoint point Charlie (US Army Checkpoint), Bundestag/Neuhauser building, Brandenburg Gate, Berlin wall, Prague Castle, Charles bridge, the Kafka Museum, St. Mary’s Basilica, historic Wawel Castle, the Wieliczka Salt mine and the somber but important Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial and museum located outside the city of Kakow, to name a few.
