Experience the trip of a lifetime with Mercer University’s Health Interventions in Marrakech study abroad program! This immersive, faculty-led course takes you beyond the classroom to the vibrant city of Marrakech, Morocco, where you’ll work directly with clinics, NGOs, and government agencies tackling pressing public health issues. From empowering adolescent girls with Project Soar to engaging with HIV prevention efforts at ALCS, you’ll gain hands-on experience designing health education materials, conducting community needs assessments, and learning how interventions succeed in diverse cultural settings. Along the way, you’ll explore Morocco’s rich history and traditions through guided cultural visits and reflections that deepen your understanding of global health.
