Getting a US Driver's License
Are you eligible to get your Driver’s License in Georgia?
If you have never driven before, it would likely be in your best interest to get a Learner’s Permit before you get your Driver’s License.
If you already know how to drive and are 18 or older, you are not required to get a Learner’s Permit.

If you do not want a Driver’s License, but want a State of Georgia ID card, this is an option as well. You will need the following documents to get a Real ID card.
