Led by Dr. Tyler Parker, this elective program takes students to Morocco from December 30th to January 9th, 2027 to engage in an immersive experience. Mercer students will travel to Morocco in partnership with the National Council on U.S. – Arab Relations (NCUSAR) and visit archaeological sites and museums, film studios where they can learn about the impact of cinema on Morocco’s culture and economy, spectacular natural wonders in the Saharan desert, as well as receive a briefing from the U.S. Embassy in Rabat. No single major is required — this program is designed for curious students from across disciplines who want to earn credits while engaging the world in a meaningful, grounded way.
PLEASE NOTE: This program does not have an academic course associated with it, and will not award academic credit. Students will not be required to pay tuition for this program.
