Medical Care

All Mercer University students are required to have health insurance.

Students are automatically enrolled in Mercer’s Health Insurance. The cost for this is automatically applied to the semester bill. If a student already has health insurance that they would like to use while attending Mercer, a Mercer Health Insurance Wavier must be completed. If the waiver is accepted, the Mercer Health Insurance cost will be removed from the bill. If the waiver is not accepted, students will be required to pay for Mercer’s Health Insurance. Most international students use Mercer’s Health Insurance.

All students may visit the Student Health Center (Campus Health Macon) on Mercer University’s Macon campus.
